Safe at Home Emergency Registration Program Begins Enrollment

Every year emergency personnel respond to hundreds of telephone calls to homes where there is a possible emergency situation but are unable to gain immediate access. Registering in the Safe at Home Emergency Registration System will provide important contact information to emergency personnel before an emergency occurs. The information you provide is strictly voluntary and confidential and could save your life. Safe Home information is entered into the computer system share by police, fire and EMS services throughout Allen County. Enrollment is free. Download the attached application, complete the information and return to the address listed. You will receive a postcard confirming enrollment in the program. Information will be updated via telephone call twice a year.

The Volunteer Center @ RSVP wants to express its gratitude to the Home Depot Foundation for their generous donation of $2,500. These funds will be used for ongoing recruiment and placement of volunteers in Allen County. Last year, volunteers from the Volunteer Center @ RSVP contributed over 166,000 hours of volunteer service to faith based organizations and not profit, social services and government agencies in Allen County. Thank you Home Depot Foundation for your support of volunteerism!
